Jared is not a comedian, but he could play one on TV, if you wanted someone to play a really bad sitcom comedian. Jared and Dan used to call each other on the phone weekly and assign movies for discussion like HUGE nerds do. After doing this for waaaaay too long, they eventually decided to turn it into a podcast, which after three years morphed into the Indie Film Review. Some of Jared's biggest influences growing up were filmmaker Alejandro Jodorowsky, Comedian George Carlin, and Talking Heads Lead singer/guitarist David Byrne.
